Pilates Group Reformer Classes

With its straps, springs and gears, the Allegro™ Reformer seems, at first glance, a little confusing (if not downright kinky). But once in action this is just about the most effective piece of kit in the entire Pilates repertoire. The Reformer's finely tunable resistance lets you set it up to suit your body perfectly, meaning that all the work you do on it will be extremely effective. There will never be more than EIGHT people in any of the group reformer classes we offer.

Beginners

This is a gently-paced class suitable for those who are new to Pilates or anyone who prefers a slower-paced class with exercises at a basic level. If you have never done Pilates we also recommend that you consider our Pilates Starter Package which will prepare you with some one-to-one tuition so that you will be able to get the maximum benefit from the group classes.  By all means contact us for further information or advice. If you have not used Pilates equipment before, please arrive ten minutes early, so that the instructor can familiarise you with the equipment before the class begins.

Class Types

Reformer Class is suitable for anyone free of injury with some Pilates experience.  More challenging options to exercises will be offered for those looking for a more dynamic work-out.

Fit Body Pilates is perfect for anyone with some Pilates experience who is looking for a high-intensity fitness based Pilates class that will specifically focus on: working those glutes to get a perkier butt; giving your abdominals a hardcore workout; re-defining and shaping upper arms and back.

Level 1/2 is a general level class suitable for anyone with no injuries
Level 3 is an intermediate to advanced class unsuitable for beginners

Posture Plus+ Pilates is suitable for anyone with some Pilates experience who is looking to improve and enhance their posture. It is a fact that many of us spend long periods of time leaning over computer screens which is not ideal. In this class exercises will be specifically geared towards creating a stronger and healthier spine. It is suitable for everyone providing you have no injuries.  More challenging options to exercises will be offered for those looking for a more dynamic work-out.

Flexibilty Plus+ Pilates (previously named Functional Pilates) is ideal for those with some Pilates experience looking for a dynamic reformer class with a focus on healthy form. Classes offer full-body flexibility and strength training through attention to anatomical detail and healthy technique. This class is suitable for those with some Pilates experience, even if injured. However if you do have an injury please contact us before booking.

Pilates for Dancers, Athletes & Movement Practitioners This advanced class is specifically aimed at Pilates teachers, dancers, and other movement practitioners including all types of athletes who are looking for a challenge. Classes will include advanced repertoire and choreography, as well as a focus on advanced anatomical concepts.

And, remember it gets cheaper the more you visit - big discounts for block bookings (of five, ten or twenty classes) .

Cancellation Policies

You can "early cancel" any class bookings up to 24 hours ahead without penalty.  Even after that, please take the trouble to "late cancel" and free up your place because, if somebody else takes your place, we will return your unused pass. If your schedule is volatile, we strongly recommend that you do not book until close to the class time. 

We aim not to run classes at a loss, so reserve the right to cancel any class of three or less people with at least four hours notice. Under those circumstances your pass will of course be returned to you.
